Custom and personalised orders
Due to the nature of custom orders I do not accept cancellations or returns on personalised items unless faulty. If you have a problem with your item, please ensure you keep all original packaging and contact me ASAP to resolve. Please note that the original packaging is needed to claim if damaged in transit.
Many of my personalised orders (signs and memory boxes) have a turn around time of up to 2 weeks. Please let me know if you need the item for a particular date and I will try to accommodate you, but this can not be guaranteed.
Care instructions
As wood is a natural material, some cracks, knots and colour variation can be expected in most of my items - which adds to their rustic charm.
- All items will fade if left in direct sunlight so please avoid.
- Bamboo boards are wipe clean only, not dishwasher proof and should not be submerged in water. They can be re-sealed with chopping board oil occasionally to keep them looking great.
- Signs are recommended for indoor use only. Signs are sealed with oil and UV sealant to allow some protection against the elements, but as a natural material discolouration and fading of the wood is to be expected if left outside over time unless in a sheltered spot.
Sizing details
Most of my items are a set size, and dimensions will be listed.
My signs are all individually made so an approximate size will be given, but exact dimensions will be advised during the design process.

Custom design service
Fully personalised items (eg memory boxes) include a full design service, so you will receive various draft designs to choose from and I will not start making the item until you are happy with the final design. Please note that I will contact you via email - so please ensure these do not go to your junk folder to avoid delay.
Copyrighted images
If you are providing an image that you want to be burned in to wood please ensure you have permission to use it. I can not use copyrighted images.
If you are unsure please contact me to discuss and I may be able to offer an alternative suitable image.
Items burned by hand
Please note that all my items are burned by hand, and not laser cut.
This means that there may be very small variations or minor detail changes in the finished product compared to a draft screenshot. This is due to the nature of burning on wood where I have to adapt to the individual piece which may have knots, sap or cracks to burn over.
Hand made v hand finished
All my signs are 100% made by hand by me in my garden workshop.
Other items are made by a woodwork company. After that the whole design process and burning on to the wood is done by me by hand.
Postage
I try to keep postage and packaging as low as possible and occasionally reuse packaging to try to be kind to the environment.
I use as much recycled packaging as possible - eg boxes, wrap, paper tape, void filler
All items are sent by Royal Mail 1st class with the exception of larger items which are sent on a 2 day courier service. Please check individual listings for full details.
Selling outside the UK
USA/Canada/Australia/New Zealand - I am happy to send to you. Please message before ordering so I can accurately quote postage and set up a custom listing.
